End user licence agreement
The terms on which we let you use the launcher and the builds.
1. What this document is about
This agreement sets out what you may and may not do with our launcher and builds. It does not cover the game Minecraft itself: the rights to it belong to Mojang and Microsoft, and you get the game from them, not from us.
2. What we grant
We let you download the launcher, install the builds and play on the project servers — free of charge and for an unlimited time, as long as you follow the community rules. This permission is personal: it is granted to you and is not passed on.
3. What you may not do
- modify the launcher, reverse it or bypass its file checks;
- pass our builds off as your own and distribute them under your name;
- use the launcher and the builds to reach other people servers;
- sell access to an account or to the contents of the builds;
- disrupt the servers: overload them, break them, exploit bugs.
4. Third-party mods
The builds consist mostly of mods by third-party authors. The rights to those belong to their authors and they are distributed on their own terms. We assemble the build and keep it compatible, but we do not claim other people work as ours. Full mod lists are on the page of each build.
5. The account
There is one account: the site, the launcher and every server. The in-game nickname cannot be changed — it is chosen at sign-up. The account is your responsibility: do not share your password, and if it leaks, change it at once and write to support.
6. Updates and changes
The launcher updates build files by itself — otherwise you would not be able to join a server. The contents of the builds, the mechanics and the servers themselves change: this is a living project, not boxed software. We write about notable changes in the news.
7. Liability
The launcher and the builds are provided as they are. We do our best to keep everything working, but we do not promise uninterrupted servers or that game progress will be preserved: wipes, failures and data loss are possible. Coins bought and purchases in the shop are governed by the terms of sale.
8. Termination
We may close access to the servers if the rules are broken. You may stop using the launcher at any time — just delete it together with the game files.
